What are the Membership Categories?
JSA offers several different membership categories to meet the needs and fit the abilities of its members. Dues include an annual subscription to our acclaimed, international refereed quarterly Contemporary Justice Review: Issues in Criminal, Social, and Restorative Justice, (Routledge) and Justitia, the official JSA newsletter.

Regular Members: Persons subscribing to the objectives of the association and wishing to support its endeavors. Annual dues are based on income level (see table below); lifetime memberships are available.

Student Members: Full-time undergraduate or graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities.

Unemployed Members: Person who are out of work.

Institutional Members: Colleges and universities who wish to support the association.

Corporate Members: Corporations who wish to support the activities of the association.

What is the Cost of Membership?

Dues are assessed according to the level of membership desired:

Regular Member (1 year)
     Income less than $11,000

     Income $11,001 to $25,000

     Income $25,001 to $50,000

     Income $50,001 to $75,000
$66.00
     Income more than $75,000
$76.00
Regular Member (3 yrs)

What is the time frame for the JSA membership year?
JSA membership runs on the calendar year, from January 1 to December 31. Regardless of the time of year a person joins the association, the new member will receive all four issues of the journal. However, applications received after November 1st shall be processed for the calendar year following.


Has my membership been renewed?
Sometimes during the renewal process, paid memberships and renewal notices cross in the mail. If you receive a second or third renewal notice and are confident that you renewed your membership, please contact any member of the membership committee to confirm your status.

How do I report a change of address?
Address changes may be mailed directly to the membership committee members.

Are memberships transferable?
No, memberships are not transferable.

Does JSA offer lifetime memberships?
Yes, lifetime memberships in JSA are available for dues of $400.
